Implications of the Affordable Healthcare Act Decision

Ruth Colker, J.D.

The Supreme Court's recent 5-4 decision upholding most of the Affordable Healthcare Act has been called one of the most significant decisions ever made by the court.  This workshop is an explanation of the ruling including specifically what it said about Medicaid. The workshop will also include a summary of implications for other laws Congress might pass and a discussion of the implementation of the law, assuming President Obama is re-elected as well as the challenges Romney would face if he sought to dismantle the law.
