Description: This workshop is for mental health advocates of all sexual orientations and gender identities who want to act as allies to LGBTQ people in the mental health system. We will examine civil and human rights issues impacting the lives and dignity of queer and trans people in the mental health system, with an intention to reduce disparities in access to culturally responsive mental health services and peer support among LGBTQ people.
