Molly Cisco has focused on the rights of people labeled with mental illness for 14 years and promotes consumer control, consumer rights and peer support wherever she goes. She is a strong believer in the power of grassroots coalitions which are built on the principles of shared leadership, shared power and creating consensus through equality of all involved. She was the Executive Director of Grassroots Empowerment Project, of Wisconsin, since 1999. She has successfully facilitated the creation of a statewide cross-disability coalition.
