Chris Hansen

Chris Hansen hails from New Zealand as an international mental health advocate, trainer & consultant.  Chris played a key role in shaping New Zealandís national mental health strategy and served as a delegate to the United Nations Convention on the Human Rights of Persons with Disabilities.  She has served on the board of the World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry.  Together with peer support visionary Sherry Mead, Chris has spent the past 7 years spear-heading a worldwide network of Intentional Peer Support, a peer-developed, peer-implemented practice that challenges the societal attitudes that underlie and perpetuate discrimination based on mental experience.  Chris has written a review of Insatiable Moon that is available at http://www.theinsatiablemoon.com/2012/02/a-darned-good-movie//.
