Lee Coleman, M.D.

Lee Coleman is a retired psychiatrist, now devoting himself to public education that exposes the individual and public harms from today’s “mental health” industry. He seeks to support a grassroots movement to abolish forced “treatment" and provide tools to amplify the voices of those seeking change. Dr. Coleman founded the Center for the Study of Psychiatric Testimony, in Berkeley, California. He has written for both popular and professional journals on psychiatry and the law, and is the author of the book, Reign of Error: Psychiatry, Authority and Law. A graduate of Occidental College, University of Chicago and University of Colorado, he brings a half-century of experience in both clinical and legal issues surrounding Psychiatry and Society.
