Susan Fendell, J.D.

Ms. Fendell is a Senior Staff Attorney with the Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee in Boston. She represents clients in administrative forums, as well as state and federal court. Ms. Fendell develops policy on insurance, health care, employment and civil rights matters. She researches, writes, and delivers comments and testimony on health care policy and legislation. She presents to groups of consumers, attorneys, judges, and clinicians on mental health, insurance, and benefits law and policy and is a guest instructor at area colleges. Ms. Fendell is a Board Member of the National Empowerment Center and a member of the Behavioral Health Task Force (Massachusetts legislative commission).
