Rhianon E. Gutierrez is a Boston-based multimedia producer, designer, and consultant whose work spans the education, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors. An award-winning filmmaker, Rhianon has created and championed films that address disability and identity.
Her passion for media access and media representation grew from her experiences as a disability rights activist and led to work as a advocate within the film industry, an instructor of film for high school students, and a designer and reviewer of media for online learning environments with CAST, Inc.
She is especially passionate about creating active and inclusive learning spaces that use media to support the needs and interests of variable learners. A native of Southern California, Rhianon has an MA in Digital Media and Education from the University of Michigan and a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University
