Robyn Linscott

Robyn Linscott is Education Public Manager at The Arc of the United States–the largest organization serving people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families. She advises on issues related to all aspects of education, child care, and child welfare, interacting regularly with Members of Congress and the Administration to ensure the needs of students with disabilities are included in legislation.

Prior to joining The Arc, Robyn taught special education and social studies and served as a teacher leader and literacy specialist. She left teaching after eight years to focus on education policy in Washington, D.C., where she served as an Education Policy Fellow in the office of then-Senator Kamala Harris, working on education and child welfare issues. After that year-long fellowship, she was hired as a Legislative Assistant in the office.

Robyn has a B.A. in history and dance, and a secondary social studies certification from Ursinus College and a M.S.T in Special Education from Fordham University.
