Robin Petty, L.M.S.W., is a Licensed Master of Social Work. She is a Social Worker: Education & Disability Advocacy for DDMA Advocacy, LLC in Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas, Ms. Petty works on various issues with families who have children with disabilities. Those issues include special education in public schools, disability services and supports in higher education, and applying and maintaining SSI benefits. She represents families in ARD/504 meetings to craft Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that allow their students to fully access educational programs, services, campus, and curriculums. She collaborates with education attorneys on disability rights cases pursuant to Section 504, the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act, and the ADA as well as other civil rights action under Title VI, VII and Title IX.
