Thomas R. Brown

Thomas Brown, M.Ed, is a leading trauma educator. He teaches trauma studies from a combined lived experience and academic research perspective at various universities and institutions including Harvard, Tufts, and McLean Hospital. Thomas is a member of the Legislative advocacy team at Massachusetts Mental Health Legal Advisers Committee. He has served as a trainer in the state’s Certified Peer Specialist program, and worked as a peer specialist at bay Cove Human Services in Boston training all staff in trauma-informed approaches.
