Marinda van Dalen

Marinda van Dalen is a Senior Staff Attorney with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest’s Disability Justice Program and Health Justice Program. Prior to joining NYLPI in 2017, Marinda served as a managing attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in one of the most impoverished counties in the country. There she litigated complex civil cases, primarily in the area of civil rights, on behalf of individual and organizational plaintiffs. Marinda also previously served as Director of the Fair Housing Project at the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia. A native New Yorker, Marinda received her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from McGill University. She is fluent in Spanish and Dutch.
